Phillips Stafford Insurance Group has opened our fourth office, this time in the town of Ackley, Iowa. Tommy Wedmore has been added to the team to operate out of and expand our new location.
Further expanding our operation to another part of Iowa and bringing more insurance options to Ackley is an exciting opportunity for us. It will allow Phillips Stafford to be more involved in rural Iowa’s revitalization and further diversify our clientele. We look forward to working with Iowa’s families, business owners, and farmers in North Central Iowa to advise them on all their risk management and insurance needs.
We are especially excited to add Tommy Wedmore to our growing team. Prior to joining Phillips Stafford Insurance Group, Tommy worked for large insurance corporations like Principal and Aviva. In 2016 he moved to the customer-facing side of the business as a Sales Associate with Farm Bureau Financial Services. As Tommy grew his client list at Farm Bureau he always prioritized helping his clients and made sure they were protected.
Tommy was looking for more options to offer his clients and the ability to shop multiple insurance carriers on behalf of his clients. For those reasons, Tommy left the captive insurance world and made the move to Phillips Stafford Insurance Group, an independent insurance brokerage. Tommy has a passion for building relationships and making sure his clients are properly protected. Tommy currently lives in Reinbeck, IA with his wife Emily and 3 kids Braxton, Aubrey, and Libby. If he is not at work or with his kids you can normally find Tommy driving his black and gold golf cart around the golf course.
