Rich Bales

Rich is an Independently Contracted Agent with Phillips Stafford Insurance Group. He specializes in working with personal, farm, and small business clients. Rich joined Phillips Stafford Insurance after a successful career in medical device sales.

Rich was born and raised in Southeast, IA. After high school he studied Kinesiology at Iowa State University while he was a sprinter on the Track and Field team. After college, Rich moved to Omaha, Nebraska where he was a medical device sales representative and then manager in the Orthopedic world.

Realizing his true passion for networking and helping care for people on the individual level, Rich made the transition back to Iowa and into the Insurance industry. He felt the independent insurance route gave him the most flexibility to get his clients the exact coverage that fits their needs at the best rate. He specializes in all lines of insurance including personal, business, and farm.

When not working, Rich enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, as well as golfing, exercising, and hunting.
