Born and raised in Southeast Iowa, Rich studied Kinesiology at Iowa State University, where he was a sprinter on the Track and Field team. After graduating, he embarked on a successful career in medical device sales, advancing to a leadership role in the orthopedic industry.

Driven by a passion for relationship-building and delivering exceptional care to his clients, Rich transitioned back to Iowa and into the insurance industry.
